Bespoke Tuition

As well as a range of group classes, we offer Bespoke tuition for individuals or companies. A Bespoke programme can be tailored to suit your particular goals and schedule.
With one to one tuition, unlike group classes, you can reschedule lessons that you might otherwise miss due to some unforeseen business event for example. All you have to do is tell us 48 hours in advance that you cannot make a lesson and it will be rescheduled to another day and time. Further, there is a four week overshoot period to each one to one contract for tuition to take such rescheduled lessons that could not be fitted in before the original end date. So, a lot of flexibility to ensure busy people get all their lessons. And if you have to travel then just tell us beforehand and we will put it in the timetable. Lessons do not have to be every week.
You can have a course in general French or, if you already speak French, a course directed at some specific business area or specialised subject matter or prepare for a recognised qualification in French.
French tuition for individuals
Alliance Française de Londres offers one-to-one private tuition focusing on your specific needs. Whether learning French for pleasure or travel, or for work in a French business environment, our experienced and professional tutors can arrange a programme which will help you achieve your goals. Tuition is given either at your central London location or at our premises with air-conditioned classrooms. The timetable - day, time, and frequency - is whatever suits you. Lessons are as long as you want subject to a 90 minute minimum.
Corporate training
We design and deliver training programmes for businesses, charities, the civil service and other organisations across central London. Tuition can be held in-company or at our school. Customised tuition is ideal for fitting around busy work schedules. Students can sit an exams at the end of training.
Immersion courses Tailored intensive courses are ideal for people in a hurry with a big commitment. A serious brush up!
French à la Carte If you would like to practise your conversational skills and satisfy your appetite for French culture at the same time, why not share a lunchtime tête-à-tête with a tutor in our partner restaurant, Base Bistro, on Baker Street. You’ll discuss topics of your choice, including French social etiquette when dining out, over a two-course meal, a glass of wine and coffee.
French for younger students
Individual classes can be arranged for younger pupils to help prepare for GCSEs, AS and A Levels, or simply to brush up during term time or over the summer. The next best thing to being in France, classes with our experienced, PGCE qualified tutors will help build confidence in spoken French as well as consolidating knowledge of grammar and vocabulary.
Costs
There is no VAT on our fee nor do we charge for tutor travelling in zones 1 or 2 of the London underground. Teaching materials are included and students may keep the book when 18 hours or more are booked.
One to one tuition: £49 an hour
Couples: £52 an hour
Groups of 3 to 8: £58 an hour
Groups of 9 or more: £63 an hour
